SRK Says It's Possible For The Three Khans To Appear In A Film Together

Earlier this year, filmmaker Farah Khan had famously been quoted as saying that "even God" couldn't bring the Khan trinity — Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir — together to act in a movie.

However, in a Hindustan Times interview published on Monday, Shah Rukh Khan said that he feels "it might not be a problem". Saying that he felt that the three of them were "humble enough" to pull it off, he stressed on the entire thing hinging on them getting "equal" roles. "We should do [a film like] Ghostbusters (1984). That film has equal roles for all the three heroes," he told HT.

An obvious problem is that a film like this would cost a lot of money to make. Khan suggested, however, that although they could solve that by coming on board as co-producers, the script would have to be the deciding factor. "Today, if I were to write [a script] for Varun (Dhawan), Ranveer (Singh) and Ranbir (Kapoor), it would be hard. Not only because they should have equal roles, but because it must do justice to them all. It’s a difficult proposition to write a three-hero film, and then get three heroines, and three villains (smiles)," he said.

When asked about whether the three — who have had their troubles in the past but are now reportedly friends — have ever discussed this, Khan said that Salman had once joked about it, saying, "Guys, we three won’t do a film together. We will only end up fighting. One will keep using his brains, another will finish the work quickly, and someone will not reach the sets on time."
