It has been seven years since British author Salman Rushdie has released a novel, since his 'The Enchantress of Florence' in 2008. These days the author's Twitter feed is buzzing with news of his new novel 'Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights'. He's answering questions of fans about his upcoming book tour.
But apart from those eager to get their hands on Rushdie's latest and connect with him on Twitter with their questions, there are also the regular haters who take pleasure from trolling the author who has a fatwa on him by Iran because of his controversial 1988 book 'The Satanic Verses'.
On a regular day, Rushdie is nothing if not charming. But when he's taking on trolls, he slays.
Exhibit A.
Satanic sass, TBH
