The director's latest film, 'Dil Dhadakne Do', releases on Friday to a positive response from audiences. According to BoxOfficeIndia.com, the film has beaten 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' — so far the biggest hit of the year — as the top worldwide opener of 2015.
The film — which stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, and Shefali Shah — earned Rs 69 crore over its opening weekend, with approximately Rs 21 crore coming from the overseas market.
