In June, it had been reported that actress Katrina Kaif would join the cast of the upcoming Jackie Chan starrer Kung Fu Yoga. Now, according to a report in Bombay Times, it seems that the male lead of the film will be none other than Sonu Sood.
The Dabangg and Happy New Year actor, who hasn't been seen in a film since the latter released, plays a parallel lead and will be shooting with superstar Chan "from start to finish". Kung Fu Yoga, the first ever Sino-Indian production, is currently being shot on location in Dubai, which will soon shift to Beijing followed by an India schedule.
Touted to be one of Chan's most expensive films, Kung Fu Yoga is said to be an "out-and-out action film" and is being directed by Stanley Tong, who directed the cult favourite Rumble In The Bronx (1995) that made Chan a household name around the world.
