In the case of a neck and neck race, as exit poll figures have predicted it to be, India might have to wait a wee bit longer to see whether the Bihar voter's mandate has gone to the coalition of erstwhile rivals Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar, with a weakened Indian National Congress thrown in the mix, or the resurgent might of the Bhartiya Janata Party, which has never formed the government in the state, but unleashed an intensive high-voltage campaign led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
