Shatrughan Sinha Has A Comeback To Vijayvargiya's Dog Taunt

Even as the BJP smarts from its defeat in the Bihar polls, internal scuffles are most likely to give the the party more headache than it had bargained for. Kailash Vijayvargiya, BJP's general secretary and one of the Bihar poll strategists, likened party leader and actor Shatrughan Sinha to a dog.

He said, "When a car moves, a dog moves under it too, the dog believes that the car is moving because of me. This party is not dependable on one person, it's a whole organization and there's a big hierarchy here. Those who are out of it were on a 'Maun Vrat' and now they are speaking."

Vijayvargiya's rant was possibly a response to a series of tweets that Sinha had put out congratulating the Lalu-Nitish Mahagathbandhan, saying the 'writing was on the wall'. He also urged the BJP to introspect and re-strategise the party's policies.

Now, in response to Vijayvargiya's tweet, Sinha said, "People want my reaction to Vijayvargiya's remark. My reaction to small or big flies in any party is "Haathi chale Bihar,....bhaunken hazaar". It roughly translates to: "When an elephant walks in Bihar, .... bark in thousands."

Now, it takes no genius to figure which animal barks. You're right. A dog. Exactly what Vijayvargiya likened Sinha to earlier on.

Shortly after BJP's defeat in Bihar, Sinha had sent out the following tweets.

That apart, he had even attributed his party's defeat to BJP's refusal to project him as the chief ministerial candidate. He said on a TV show, "I am not bragging, but I do feel that when the darling (laadla) of Bihar people, the dhartiputra (son of the soil) and the original 'Bihari babu' was deliberately sidelined, it definitely had an impact on my supporters and fans."

In fact, he took the opprtunity to complain about several alleged injustices against him. He added, "Several times they (supporters, fans) felt I was being deliberately sidelined, for some particular reason, on which I will not speak much."
