Tamil Nadu has been experiencing one of the worst bursts of rain in over a 100 years -- killing over 269 people and severely disrupting flights, train and bus services. From the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy as well as the NDRF, help has been pouring in Chennai, one of the worst-affected cities in the state.

Earlier this week, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assessed the situation personally and had announced relief funds for the state.
