An AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force has reportedly gone missing after it took off from Jorhat in Assam.
PTI reported that no contact could be established with the aircraft after it took off at 1 pm.
ANI reported that a search operation has been launched to located the AN-32 aircraft. The report said that the Indian Air Force launched a Sukhoi-30 combat aircraft and a C-130 Special Ops aircraft on the search mission.
Sources told PTI that eight crew and five passengers were on board the missing aircraft.
