The government has announced the list of Padma awardees ahead of Republic Day. The list consists of eminent personalities from all walks of life.
Among the awardees are Rajinikanth, classical singer Girija Devi, classical dancer Yamini Krishnamurthi, media baron Ramoji Rao, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar, actor Anupam Kher, singer Udit Narayan, tennis champion Sania Mirza, badminton champion Saina Nehwal.
