New Zealand won the toss in the World Cup Final 2019 and captain Kane Williamson has decided to bat. They are playing against England

The World Cup summit clash between hosts England and New Zealand Sunday was been delayed by half an hour due to overnight and early morning rain in London.

The match will begin at 3:30 pm IST.

England outplayed five-time champions Australia by eight wickets in the second semifinal in Birmingham on Thursday to reach the finals.

England will start Sunday’s final at Lord’s as the tournament hosts, world no.1 side and favourites.

But if the New Zealand can take wickets up top, much like in the semi-final win over India, then England will be brought back down to earth with a bump.

New Zealand beat India in the semi-finals to reach the finals.

Teams:

New Zealand: Martin Guptill, Henry Nicholls, Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, James Neesham, Tom Latham (wk), Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Matt Henry, Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson.

England: Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan (c), Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (wk), Chris Woakes, Liam Plunkett, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood.
