Actress Urmila Matondkar Ties The Knot In a Low Key Ceremony

Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar tied the knot with Kashmiri businessman and model Mohsin Akhtar Mir on Thursday afternoon in a private ceremony attended only by the couple's family and close friends.

The only Bollywood personality who attended the wedding, solamnised as per Hindu rituals at Matondkar’s residence, was designer Manish Malhotra.

Matondkar, who debuted in the movies as a child artist in Marathi film Zaakol (1980), went on to do memorable roles in movies such as Rangeela, Satya and so on.

“We kept it an exclusive wedding with just family and friends at the celebration. Since our families wanted the wedding to be a low key affair, we mutually decided to keep it private. We seek your blessings on embarking this new journey of our lives ,” Matondkar said.

A few days ago, Bollywood actress Preity Zinta married her fiance Gene Goodenough in Los Angeles in a quiet ceremony in which no known faces from the film industry participated.
