On Tuesday afternoon, following a typically filmi and rambunctious sangeet, Hindi film actor Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Delhi-based Mira Rajput at a farmhouse in the capital, reported The News Minute.

According to a report on MissMalini.com, Kapoor and Rajput officially tied the knot at around 11 am on Tuesday. Only 40 people were present to witness the ceremony, reportedly. An IANS report also suggest that they will head back to the five-star hotel in Gurgaon soon for their reception, where Kapoor is said to have booked the Presidential Suite, priced at Rs 6 lakh a night, for the two of them.
After their wedding, however, the couple will not be taking off on a honeymoon. Kapoor has to return to shoot celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded, where he is coming in as a judge.
He will also be busy with film projects, which include Vikas Bahl's Shaandaar opposite Alia Bhatt and Udta Punjab, directed by Abhishek Chaubey.
