It's Official: Bipasha Basu And Karan Singh Grover Are Getting Married On April 30

After almost a year of keeping her relationship with former TV heartthrob Karan Singh Grover under wraps, Bipasha Basu has finally come out with a statement confirming that she's indeed getting married to him. In a jointly-released note, which co-incidentally, came within hours of Priyanka Chopra's tweet, the actress said,

"We are happy to finally share the good news with everyone. 30 April is the big day and we cannot thank out family, friends, fans and well-wishers enough for their love and support. The wedding will be a private intimate affair. Our deepest gratitude for respecting our privacy this far. We hope to have to have your continued blessings and warm wishes as we embark on this new journey together.

"

While the couple's relationship has been aggressively documented by tabloids and other news outlets, they never acknowledged their relationship in public. However, right from romantic holidays abroad to countless parties with close friends, the lovebirds have been pretty much inseparable since late 2014 when they first met on the sets of a horror film they did together.

While there were reports that Basu's mother had problems with her relationship with Grover, the above statement puts all those misgivings to a rest.

While the wedding will be a private affair, a gala reception has been planned at the St. Regis, Mumbai by the duo for their friends from the film and TV industries.
