Despite some bitterness between Sujoy Ghosh and his Kahaani heroine Vidya Balan, which took place over the ill-fated project Durga Rani Singh, the sequel of one of 2012's best-reviewed films is finally on track.
We stumbled upon some gorgeous pictures from the first schedule of Kahaani 2 on Instagram, the shoot of which concluded a few days ago in the dreamy hill-station of Kalimpong, which is situated near Darjeeling in West Bengal. Some portions of the film have also been shot in Kolkata, the primary location of the first installment.
The visuals are striking and atmospheric, giving a definite sense of the mood of Kahaani 2.
While the film, in all probability, won't release anytime before the first quarter of 2017, the photographs shared by one of the crew members, are certainly intriguing.
Directed by Ghosh, who also made the first part, Kahaani 2 stars Balan and Arjun Rampal.
