On his birthday, one cannot even imagine going to Bandra, in Mumbai. Fans wait outside Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat for days just to get a glimpse of him. And on regular days, you will see fans clicking selfies outside his house till the guard politely asks them to leave.
But this time, it was a mysterious fan who professed his love for the Bollywood actor by literary writing it up on the wall.
According to reports, on Wednesday, the compound walls of the the star's four-storeyed residence at Bandstand were painted with messages like 'love you SRK' and c u on 15th. The messages were signed by 'Gaurav'. Strangely, nobody saw this fan, not even the security guards.
But, it seems the fan hasn't impressed the Bollywood star too much. After the actor found out about the graffiti on his bungalow's walls, he tweeted expressing shock. "You can't leave your house for a day without someone messing it," he tweeted.
A senior police inspector told Mid Day that they will investigate the matter.
Security guards at Mannat have no clue how the graffiti appeared. One of the security guards told DNA that they will not touch the wall painting till 'the boss' ordered them.
"There is nothing wrong with graffiti and we don't see any need to remove it. Anyway, boss is not around and will be back only after 20 days or so. If he calls and asks us to remove it, we will do so," a security guard told the newspaper.
Meanwhile, social media has been busy sharing pictures of SRK's bungalow.
