Social media suggests that India might not exactly present itself as the ideal country to exploit these heroes superpowers: Instead of saving Gotham (or Gurgaon), Batman's priority would probably revolve around cutting down the electricity bill. Spiderman, on the other hand, would be throwing out webs to hang piles of freshly-washed shirts (and other clothing paraphernalia) from.
Their biggest tussles however, would probably be pleading with their parents for an extension on their nighttime curfew (imagine wrapping up fighting crime before 9pm), and cracking engineering entrance exams before exploring their super powers.
Here are some of the things people imagine superheroes doing if they were Indian:
Lots of daily chores

Last year, Delhi-based digital artist, Raj Kamal, reimagined superheroes in India, and came up with some hilarious images: The Flash fit the role of a Mumbai dabbawala perfectly, while the Hulk was recreated as a Tam Brahm, and Spiderman gained a turban. Take a look at his colourful sketches here.
