PANAJI -- A man on his morning walk on Wednesday spotted a crocodile on Goa's Morjim beach. The photos he posted on Facebook have now gone viral.
The image of a crocodile walking on the beach was captured by local Nilesh Bagkar on the Morjim beach, one of the most popular shorelines in Goa.
Deputy conservator of Forest D N F Carvalo confirmed that the crocodile was seen on the beach.
"The aquatic reptile must have arrived from nearby Chapora river and not the Arabian Sea. It must have walked to the beach from Chapora river," he said.
