After a crocodile and giant anaconda, now it's lotuses in Bengaluru's streets. On Thursday afternoon, residents of the Garden City woke up to find Lotus flowers on top of a dirty old road leading to the airport. Artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy had created this "magic pool" in the gutter near Diamond District.
The flowers, made out of thermocol, are to bring the municipal corporation's attention to the terrible conditions of the some of the city streets. Municipal elections in the city are scheduled for tomorrow.
