NEW DELHI -- Pakistani ghazal legend Ghulam Ali made a surprise visit to Bollywood singer Mika Singh's concert, just days prior to his performance in Kolkata.
Mika, 38, took to Twitter to share photographs of himself and Ali.
"... And what a wonderful surprise entry by #GhulamAli ji," he tweeted.
The Delhi concert was also attended by actress Ameesha Patel, who too shared her excitement of meeting the Pakistani singer.
"Was such an honour to meet and have the ghazal King Ghulam Ali ji as chief guest last might in Delhi show with @MikaSingh," she wrote.
Ali, 74, who has followers on both sides of the border, is scheduled to perform at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata on 12 January.
Last year, his Mumbai concert was cancelled following Shiv Sena's objection.
