Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made their first appearance on the red carpet together at this year's Vogue Beauty awards, in Mumbai, on July 21. The duo - rumoured to be in a relationship -stole the limelight as a couple and seemed oblivious to everyone else, as they stared into each others eyes amidst flashing cameras.
While Virat looked dapper in a charcoal grey suit and white shirt, Anushka complemented him perfectly in a lemon-yellow gown by Gauri and Nainika. The couple looked refreshed from their recent holiday in London and Anushka, in an interview with NDTV, remarked that the break was a much-needed one, after having launched three movies this year and 'PK' at the end of 2014.
Earlier, the cricket star had also tweeted his admiration and love for his beau and her acting skills:
Anushka also called Kohli her 'very, very good looking arm candy', and was later seen laughing and hugging him during the awards ceremony. She also acknowleged his funny one-liner while accepting her 'Beauty of The Year' award: "He told me I'm looking like a nimbu (a lemon) tonight," she said.
All seems well in love so far....
